In my photography, I seek to invite the viewer to ‘step into the scene’ - to smell the breeze, to hear the sounds of the gurgling whitewater racing over the boulders in the moorland, to want to reach out and touch the gnarled bark of the trees…. and to relish in the stormlight that bathes the land in an enchanted ambience for a few evanescent moments..

The photographs in my Gallery are printed as exquisitely detailed Archival quality Giclee prints using Fotospeed 315gsm CottonRag Fine Art paper & Ultra 4K Pigment inks. These true Fine Art prints are designed to last for 75+ years and aimed to ensure the conservation of the photograph for years to come. The Fotospeed fibrous paper used in my mounted prints, with its very fine texture, produces a luxurious, glare-free image with a classy, often painterly ambiance - making it perfect for the detailed nuances of landscape and nature photographs. It is a printing process that has real gravitas.
Phil's prints are all signed on the border below the image (and Limited Edition prints numbered) to prove authenticity. Each comes with a card giving details of the images location/ history /geology, etc. The Giclee prints each come supplied with a front 'window mount' and a 'back-mount', made from archival grade mount board as standard, so they are ready to fit into a frame.
* The sizes quoted for each photo on my website are the actual image sizes. I add mounts that give a 2 inch border to each side.. 2" to left, right, top, base....
